Happy fall y’all! We are so thrilled to be sharing Lauren & Rob’s beautiful autumn wedding day! We drove down to Southern Ohio for their big day and had the craziest fall weather... It was nearly 80* in November!

Ohhhh friends! Today on the blog is very special. We photographed September & James’ wedding four years ago and what a blessing to return to photograph their precious little girl’s earliest moments.

I remember the excitement September had telling me she was carrying this little girl over coffee this past winter… And last month, they welcomed her to the world: Say hello to Annie.

A few years ago, I photographed Diamond & Peter’s senior photos and it was so fun to finally meet their younger brother Mike to photograph his senior portraits as well! We even shot the photos at Inniswoods, like he had for his brother and sister.

Another wedding Wednesday today, but this time we’ve got an engagement session to share!

We had so much fun walking through Inniswoods Park with these two on a hot sunny summer evening. They had such a gorgeous sunset!

Lauren & Rob had an instant connection. When Lauren wasn’t able to spend Christmas with her family during the pandemic, Rob drove through a snow storm to make sure she didn’t spend the day alone.

On Wednesdays, we celebrate weddings.

And today we are sharing Savanna and Jake’s wedding with you! You guys… this was a very special wedding for us because this family and this couple have been a part of this growing business’ story and my own personal story for so many years! I have watched Savanna go from a young teenager, to a senior in high school, to a college grad… what a wonderful gift to not only watch her grown into this amazingly beautiful person (yet still remain true to herself all at once), but to see her fall in love and photograph her wedding day.

Seeing this family grow has been so special. As always, I’m so thankful they asked for a shoot again this year. This time, they invited me over to their home.

Hello! I decided to share both Rachael & Sam’s mini maternity shoot as well as their newborn session with their sweet little babe tonight! A combo two for one blog!

This was my first time shooting a newborn lifestyle session, and instead of hyper focusing on lighting and location like I normally do, I decided to embrace the grain, the sun beams, and the imperfect blurry shots. I wanted the newborn photos to feel raw and real and photograph this sweet family in their first home together so that they can always look back and remember exactly what it was like.

Hi there! I’m sitting outside tonight enjoying the beautiful weather we are having! There is a good fire going as the sunsets, my husband is working on our fence, and the dogs are laying in the grass. I was craving this peaceful oasis that is somehow my backyard. It’s been a long day.

Spring is here! Our first blog post of the year is too! I shot Alexis’s senior photos FOUR years ago and now she is an OU Nursing GRADUATE! It was so much fun to catch up with Alexis and shoot these fun photos to commemorate this amazing milestone.

Hiii everyone! I’m so happy to be sharing this family with you today and I’m so happy I got to see them because they are longtime friends! I have known Brian for nearly twenty years (that feels weird to write). Brian became my manager and my pal at my high school job, he was even kind enough to help me with my calculus homework on occasion in college! I was so happy for him when he met and fell in love with the kindest, most beautiful girl. Brian and Kristen were one of our very first weddings when I was first starting out in this business about ten years ago and I am so grateful that they allowed me to do that because it helped open so many doors for me in this industry.
