Ohhhh friends! Today on the blog is very special. We photographed September & James’ wedding four years ago and what a blessing to return to photograph their precious little girl’s earliest moments.
I remember the excitement September had telling me she was carrying this little girl over coffee this past winter… And last month, they welcomed her to the world: Say hello to Annie.
When I arrived at September and James’ house, I was greeted by their famous to me adorable pug, who may not be so sure just yet about no longer being the center of his mom and dad’s world. Don’t worry, as you will see, he has definitely not been left behind and is adjusting to his big brother status.
Soft pinks & florals, fluffy bunnies, and angelic light from the window made Annie’s nursery exceptionally peaceful to photograph their family photos in.
I love the way James looks at his tiny baby and has taken on the role of dad so effortlessly. September, my sweet friend, you are strength and grace wrapped into one, and seeing you as a mother is so extraordinary.
Annie is the luckiest little girl to call you both her parents. I can’t wait to see the beautiful person she grows to be with you as her guide.
