Finally Friday! Last weekend, Ohio University graduated the Class of 2018! I headed down to Athens to meet one of these graduates, Madison! Instead of worrying about getting photos exactly where she wanted to take them on the day of graduation with thousands of other graduates and their family and friends, Madison had me come down the week of graduation for a fun shoot with her fiancé, parents, and fellow graduating gal pals.
Once I navigated OU’s impossible parking situation hahaha – Guys, I suck at figuring out parking on college campuses. Makes me feel extra old - I was so excited to see Madison and her family and friends looks so fabulous and ready for photos!
I only do one college senior session a year, and I really feel like these should become more of a thing! I actually wish I had done them! I met my very best friend in college (we are inseparable!) and those four years were so much fun. Why not commemorate that time with a fun photo shoot on campus??
Madison chose college green for her college senior portraits. That’s why OU holds so much charm, right… all those Georgian buildings, brick walkways, and shade trees make my heart so happy.
I absolutely adore the inscription on the gates on college green that read:
“So enter that daily thou mayest grow in knowledge, wisdom, and love,” when you enter, and “So depart that daily thou mayest better serve thy fellowmen, thy country, and thy God,” when students depart.
So many big things are happening for this gorgeous girl! She just graduated from college and now she’s planning a wedding! Madison, best of luck on all of your new adventures! Thank you so much for booking me months and months and months ago. I had so much fun with you all! xo
