Happy Friday! How is it March? Spring is so close!! I’m hoping all of those super cold winter days are officially behind us.
Usually, I am sharing with you all the weddings and engagements and the occasional families and seniors I shoot, but today’s post is super special and something I would love to do more of: anniversaries.
Garrett and Sidney’s daughter planned a 60th wedding anniversary party for her parents and it was so perfect! After being married for just a couple of years, I finally understand why people celebrate anniversaries. Marriage is hard, y’all! But it is so incredibly worth every moment. The marriages that last until the end deserve a celebration as big as the day they got married.
This garden party was so perfect for Garrett and Sidney’s 60th anniversary. The home was so lovely, inside and out! Their children and grandchildren and friends all came to celebrate. There was food and laughter and it was so wonderful to see a lasting love be cherished so much.
Towards the end of the evening, I was able to have the family step aside for some posed portraits in the garden. I love the way these two looked at each other and just started laughing. I had asked them to smile, but they laughed! They were so sweet.
