Happy NEW YEAR! It is 2018 you guys. That is absolutely insane. This year, it is my resolution to make it to church more and spend more time with the people I love! Building my business the past few years kept me from taking time for myself and my family, but I'm feeling good about balancing everything this year!

Today I am sharing Anthony and Ashley's Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony. I shot this beautiful ceremony last Spring. I wanted to share this ceremony with you because if you are unfamiliar with the Orthodox faith and you attend a wedding, you may have no idea what is going on. Why are there crowns? Why do they drink from a cup? I've taken the below from our church website.

Holy mackerel, y’all! I haven’t blogged a thing since the spring! This winter calls for some serious catching up, what do you say? I am so excited to share with you the shoots and weddings I have done this year! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and I hope you’re gearing up for a fun and relaxing holiday season.

I have been very busy! This year was phenomenal and I’m so grateful for all the work I’ve been given. I’m ready to show it off! For now, I want to share with you a styled shoot I did with Dalay Ket Event Design last spring- yes, 2016. Borrowed and Blue published this shoot this year! My goal was to have one of my shoots published this year. I have since had two other shoots published!

The first blog post of 2017 is here! Kyrstin and Joe are officially newlyweds! Do you remember them? I loved shooting their engagement photos at Everal Barn and in Uptown Westerville! I loved getting to know these two over the past year. After being set up on a blind date, it wasn't long before these two knew they would spend forever together. Joe proposed in the midst of a snowball fight - so romantic!!
