Holy mackerel, y’all! I haven’t blogged a thing since the spring! This winter calls for some serious catching up, what do you say? I am so excited to share with you the shoots and weddings I have done this year! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and I hope you’re gearing up for a fun and relaxing holiday season.
I have been very busy! This year was phenomenal and I’m so grateful for all the work I’ve been given. I’m ready to show it off! For now, I want to share with you a styled shoot I did with Dalay Ket Event Design last spring- yes, 2016. Borrowed and Blue published this shoot this year! My goal was to have one of my shoots published this year. I have since had two other shoots published!
It was so much fun to work with all the vendors involved in this shoot. Dalay is simply incredible. She can create a wonderland with her design ANYWHERE. Check out the gorgeous florals she designed for the shoot. The creamy whites and greens are timeless. AND you cannot miss her tablescape design!
We chose my uncle’s private residence in Carroll, Ohio for this shoot and I was able to have my gorgeous real life couple friends Andrea and Pete model for us! Andrea has since taken on modeling and has appeared in countless other styled sessions and even commercials! I’m really excited to see where her career takes her!
Andrea wore a stunning Wendy’s Bridal gown and Pete was decked out in a handsome tan suit from Romanoff’s Tuxedo. The lace detail and subtle ribbon accents on Andrea’s dress were so romantic. The look was perfect for spring.
We were so grateful to have Amber from Columbus Wedding Makeup do Andrea’s hair and makeup. We wanted to take a classic look and turn it up a notch. Amber saw our vision perfectly!
Taylor from A Happy Designer put together a fantastic invitation suite. Check out the laser detail! How amazing! Taylor is wonderful and also the designed of the current Story Told Photography logo.
We topped it all off with dessert, of course, from the one of a kind gals at Fantasy Cupcake and Michelle’s Macarons! Their work is so good you almost don’t want to eat it! But then you do, and you’re so glad you did. And you want there to be more.
We wanted to bring together all of these details to create inspiration for bride’s planning their weddings! I love how everything turned out and I am so grateful to each and every vendor (and friend!) who contributed and worked so hard to make this happen. I am so lucky to be surrounded by such inspiring leaders and girl bosses in the wedding industry.
Check out the publication on Borrowed and Blue here. And see more below from the shoot! Xoxo
