Happy FRIDAY! I love when my brides come back for maternity photos and I get to see two people in love grow their family with even more love! Do you remember these two?? I blogged their wedding over on my OLD website. You can see their wedding images here.
They met me in Columbus for their photos and when I saw Lauren's bump I was so excited for them! Baby Matthias was in there! They welcomed their sweet baby boy just a couple of weeks after these photos were taken. When you're a wedding photographer, you get to know a couple very well. I know these two are doing an amazing job as parents. I know Baby Matthias is showered in love every single day because Lauren and Will are incredible people.

Oh my goodness! I had been looking forward to this spring session and seeing Erica and Zach! I shot their engagement and wedding photos and was beyond thrilled when Erica reached out for maternity portraits!
Erica rocked pregnancy. I mean, look how gorgeous she is in this gown! She and Zach brought along an ultrasound photos and the most precious, soft bunny that when squeezed played the baby's heartbeat! We had to include the bunny in some shots.

A rare personal post! You guys! I became an auntie in December! Oliver is so so so so SO daggon' cute and basically a spittin' image of my husband right now (sorry Mel and Tim!). I am so in love with this sweet baby boy and it's always too long until I see him again.

Hi, hi, hi and happy Friday! I hope y'all have had a great week. If you haven't, I hope today is awesome! AND at least the weekend starts tomorrow! As many of you know, I am not a studio newborn photographer. Studio newborn photographers are special angels people. Here are a few of my favorites angel lady newborn photographers: Sarah Cropper, Justine Tuhy, and Amanda Estep. I do love photographing expecting mommas and daddies though and I do have so much fun with lifestyle inspired newborn and family sessions. It just depends on what type of photography you prefer!

Happy Wednesday, y’all! This is my first maternity session ever and I love it so much! Sam reached out to me this past summer, so excited for their first baby! I adore pretty mommas-to-be in long flowy dresses and flower crowns on pinterest (haha) And I couldn’t wait to meet Sam and her husband Josh and create these images in celebration of their baby! I anxiously awaited Sam’s email to see if they would be having a boy or a girl! Sam and Josh radiated happiness over their little peanut, and I loved photographing them together. Being my first maternity session, I honestly wasn’t sure if I would enjoy shooting this type of session (I was a bit nervous), but I have to tell you after photographing Sam and Josh and that baby bump, I was able to fall in love with photography all over gain. As a wedding photographer, I typically witness the beginning of a love story: he engagement and the wedding day - two people promising forever together. Weddings are so joyous, but seeing two people so in love, now adding to their family, that love growing even stronger than before, brought that wedding day joy to the next level. Am happy. Xo
