Hello, it’s me! I haven’t taken photos or posted much at all since the beginning of COVID. Honestly, this has been a much needed break for me. I’m constantly working. Always go go go. Anyone who knows me knows I’m the definition of workaholic. This year, I made the decision to step back from the business. It wasn’t hard like I thought that decision would be. God just has this incredible sense of timing. I still love my clients. I still love creating beauty through photographs. I’ve just taken this time to restructure my business. I’m still excited for Story Told Photography’s future. It’s full of heart. Sometimes, we all just need a break to refocus. I’m grateful for this time. I hope you all have found ways to better your work and yourselves. 2020 has been a wild one.

Baileigh and Nick were married in a small ceremony in her parents’ backyard last summer before Nick headed back for Army duties, but they threw a big vow renewal and celebration earlier this month in an outdoor ceremony at The Estate at New Albany. This time, the fun-loving couple was surrounded by all their family and friends! It was an absolutely gorgeous overcast day.

Eeeeek! This is my cousin, Kaleigh!!! I never thought I would be the one taking her senior photos, and I am so happy that I was able to! I love this pretty girl!
Kaleigh and her mom, Julie, drove all the way down from Stow to Westerville back in September for Kaleigh’s summer session! And it was in the morning so they had to leave super early. My schedule was so full, I didn’t have room for travel. I am so grateful they were willing to come down to me!
Last month, I was up in Akron for my sister’s baby shower (blog coming next month on that!!) and so we finished up Kaleigh’s senior portraits up there! We went to this beautiful park that Kaleigh picked called Hudson Springs and found some really pretty areas! I loved the lake! All the fall colors had me swooning!
Kaleigh is also an incredible swimmer and so we ended her session at the pool! I loved this and the fact that she was willing to get her hair wet after all that curling!
