What an incredible day! This classic blush and navy wedding was such a dream to photograph.
Erica’s father gave one of the most heartfelt speeches I have ever heard at a wedding, wishing his daughter and now son-in-law a lifetime of happiness. In his speech, he mentioned that Erica was a planner (which makes me love her oh so much more). And Erica has had her eye on Zach since the 6th grade.
While Zach wasn’t too interested in a girlfriend at the time, it seems these two were simply meant to be. They became friends and started dating a few years down the road. They’ve been inseparable for nearly eight years now and last week, they tied the knot. Their love story already has quite a few pages in it, but this chapter has just begun.
From the moment I arrived, already knowing Erica was a planner, I fell in love with every detail. From her beautiful bouquet to her breathtaking dress, I think I must have had hearts in my photographer eyes looking through the jewelry, the shoes, and the garters! Even Zach’s groom style was complete for the Fourth of July weekend with themed suspenders and socks. Nothing went untouched.
After getting ready shots, we hopped in a bus and headed for the church. Erica and Zach both seemed so calm, so confident, and so completely ready for this day. I loved how each guest I spoke to also felt the same. This was a true love story and you could feel how much love these two had surrounding them! Everyone appeared to already be family.
After the ceremony we headed off to my favorite reception site- The Pinnacle! It was such a fun evening filled with dancing- even a surprise dance by Erica and her dad! Everyone was cracking up! The night ended with a sparkler exit and Krispy Kreme classic glazed donuts for favors! You KNOW I took a donut home with me!
After the big day, Erica and Zach headed down south to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Congratulations you guys! I am so happy to have captured your wedding day. Wishing you so much love for years to come. Here are some of my favorite photos!
