Happy Wedding Wednesday! I am so excited to be sharing Laura and Steve’s engagement session with you today! I first met Laura a couple of years ago through a mutual friend (sup, Chrissssyyyy) and I just love this girl! Her joy is contagious and photographing her a Steve is so much fun! The last time I had them in front of my camera, we were celebrating their sweet (seriously, she is sooo sweet) beagle puppy Leila’s first birthday! Leila came along for engagement photos too, of course!!
I was so happy when I saw Laura posted on Facebook that she and Steve were engaged and even more excited when she reached out for me to photograph her engagement and wedding!! Laura and Steve would go to Smith and Wollensky’s for big occasions… they even have a favorite waiter, who ended up being in on the proposal! Steve got their favorite waiter to come in on his day off when he took Laura out for dinner…. when he brought out their dessert, Laura got something even better, her beautiful engagement ring! Laura told me she was so surprised because Steve didn’t give away any hints and she cried all the happy tears!
Laura was so excited for her and Steve’s session! She booked well in advance and I love that she is a planner and included me on all the updates, including that her amazing dress from Lulus! She messaged me one day and said she had found the perfect location for their engagement photos and I agreed that Creekside would be amazing! They even had it all decorated and it felt straight out of a Hallmark movie (both fall and Christmas hah!) It had been a rainy day, but the skies cleared just in time for their colorful fall shoot! Leila even made some duck friends, her first time meeting those funny feathered creatures!
