Happy Wedding Wednesday!! Today we are sharing Emily & Russ’ late October wedding at The Grande Hall in Dayton, Ohio!
Emily and Russ were guests at past weddings we had shot and Emily had so sweetly told us that when it was her turn, she wanted us to photograph their wedding. We were ecstatic after Russ proposed and they reached out to us!!
Despite the limitations that come with planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic, Emily & Russ were determined to get married! With a little help from technology, Emily & Russ were able to share their day virtually with all who couldn’t attend in person.
They chose newly renovated The Grande Hall in Dayton, which used to be a bank! It was so fun exploring the building. The bright, high ceilings were amazing and the entering the vault felt like we were in a movie!
Emily and Russ had the most epic first look on the rooftop of The Grande Hall. The wind was strong as a storm was blowing in. We finished up photos right before a heavy down pour over Dayton (that followed us all the way back to Columbus!).
Knowing Emily & Russ for so long and learning their love story and who all the important people in their lives are made it so special to photograph this incredible day.
