Happy Wedding Wednesday from Story Told Photography! Today we are sharing Ashley & Shane’s Watersedge wedding! This late spring wedding was so beautiful and we are sharing all of our favorites from the day below!
Ashley and Shane are such a gorgeous couple. They began the day getting ready at a nearby hotel in Dublin, Ohio before heading off to the ceremony and reception site at Watersedge in Hilliard.
It was a windy but bright sunny day in the midst of an extraordinarily rainy spring. In fact, every day called for rain, except Ashley & Shane’s wedding day. The prayers throughout the day asked God to bless their marriage and to protect it, and this surely felt like the first of many blessings for Ashley and Shane. Before the ceremony, Ashley’s mom and bridesmaids prayed over her and for her marriage to Shane. After the prayer, Ashley’s niece exclaimed: “You are strong!” It’s crazy how children speak so much truth in moments like these. Ashley’s sister echoed these sentiments in her matron of honor speech. This marriage truly is strong with Christ at its center.
Ashley chose stormy blue, greens, and pinks for their wedding colors. I loved how the stormy blue bridesmaid dresses picked up colors in the sun!
The light really softened as the evening came to an end and I am so happy Ashley and Shane agreed to hop out for some quick portraits before the sun set. Afterwards, they danced the night away with family and friends. It was such a perfect day!
