Happy FRIYAY! We made it through this hot hot hot week in Columbus. I am shooting a wedding today, but first I have to share Courtney and Andy's summer Beauty and the Beast inspired engagement session! Courtney is obsessed with all things Disney, which makes me love her even more, because ME TOO. This shoot was so much at the Park of Roses! See if you can spot all the special Beauty and Best touches!
You may remember these two from their winter engagement session at Jeffrey Mansion. (Keep scrolling for those photos and to read more about this sweet couple!) Courtney and Andy recently became puppy parents to the most adorable, ornery golden retriever named Willow and they brought her for pictures as well! Oh guys, I had a hard time focusing because I really just wanted to play with Willow! haha!
Here are some of my favorites from engagement session round two, Courtney & Andy! Can't wait to see you guys again!! xo

It’s looking like rain the rest of this week. Sometimes I feel like I’m not just a photographer, but also a weatherwoman. When your work relies on the weather conditions, you really have to pay attention to the forecast! More about this later…
I met Courtney & Andy for coffee just last week. I immediately loved these two! I had shot their friends’ (Lauren & Will) wedding and I didn’t know it until they showed me, but I had snapped a photo of these two dancing at the reception! How cool is that??
These two are high school sweethearts! I have so many couples that met in high school and I LOVE it!! Andy had a trend of asking Courtney to school dances, he surprised Courtney one day with a different question: Instead of will you go to homecoming or prom with me, his sign finally read Will You Marry Me? These two are the sweetest!
Courtney really wanted snow photos for her engagement portraits. Cue weatherwoman Ali. Okay, PERFECT. It was supposed to snow on Wednesday. And I’m thinking it was the last snow of the season! It began to melt away right before their session, but we decided to work with what we had! We were able to find a winter wonderland as we wandered around Jeffrey Mansion’s grounds in Bexley. I love snowy sessions so much!
Courtney LOVES Disney, which makes me love her even more. And makes me love Andy as well for being down for whatever his future wifey wants! These two are planning a real-life Disney princess wedding for next winter at The Pinnacle in Grove City! Can you guess which princess has inspired Courtney? This is part of the reason we wanted to shoot at a location that had a “castle-feel” to it. Thank you, Jeffrey Mansion! This wedding is going to be amazing!
