Hello, hello! I’m so happy the fall weather is finally here. Guys, it was an extraordinarily hot summer for this wedding photographer. I am looking forward to all the portrait sessions lined up for this month and next and for the boots and sweaters and scarves. This basic girl thriiiiiiives in the fall, ya know???
But first, it’s Wedding Wednesday! Today I am sharing Alyssa & Rob’s late summer wedding images with you all. This day was so beautiful, and the couple themselves even more so!
Alyssa and Rob were married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Grove City. This was my second time this year shooting a wedding at OLPH and I absolutely love it. Let me just tell you now, I am going to say the word love over and over again in this post because I loved everything about this day.
After the ceremony, we headed over to Gantz Park for portraits of the bridal party and the bride and groom! The sun was out in full force all day, and I know I keep harping about the weather, but it was the first wedding of the long summer that didn’t feel like it was ONE THOUSAND DEGREES outside! I was so thankful!
Alyssa and Rob had their reception at The Clocktower, which is seriously one of my favorite reception venues in Columbus. It is so unexpected, tucked away. We shot Alyssa and Rob’s sunset portraits in the street (more of an alley/drive), next to some dumpsters and the images are seriously so magical, just wait until you see! I love love love this hidden gem!
Alyssa and Rob, I cannot get over how you two looked at each other all day. You were both absolutely stunning. I pray you always look at each other the way you did on your wedding day. And if you ever should need reminded, I hope these images do just that. I love your photos so much, not because of anything I did, but because of the genuine way you two love each other. I hope you love them just as much!
Thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer. Thank you for being such incredible people. I loved getting to know you both! I am so excited for your new life together in Virginia (and so jealous of the beach!). It was so difficult to choose which images to share on the blog, but here are some of my favorites from your big day!
ps I was crying my eyes out during your father-daughter dance, Alyssa. That dang Tarzan song got me!
xoxo
