Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today we are sharing Athena & Sean’s engagement session, which had us envisioning Taylor Swift’s Love Story the entire time we were shooting and editing!
Athena and Sean are are originally from here in Columbus but now live out of the state. With states between us and a global health pandemic, it was pretty difficult to get engagement photos scheduled. We finally did it this summer while they were home on holiday visiting family! Athena and Sean woke up before sunrise to meet us at Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley and ooo the LIGHT, the DRESS, this COUPLE! We were in photographer heaven.
But please beware of Jeffrey Mansion: they have hidden sprinklers and they will start shooting you with water unannounced! Athena took it like a champ! ahh!
Sean proposed to Athena in GREECE. You guys. Athena often returns to Greece, where her family is from, and Sean took the opportunity to propose with a beautiful ring surrounded by the most incredible backdrops imaginable.
We can’t wait for these two high school sweethearts to tie the knot this fall! Athena’s family goes to our church and her sister, Mauretta, has second shot weddings with us! It is going to be so much fun to see them say “I do” surrounded by so many of their family and friends- surrounded by so much love!
