Rylee's Campus View and High School Track Senior Portrait Session

Rylee! Beautiful, stunning Rylee! My first time meeting her was during her senior session, but I feel like I watched her grow up in photos from her mother. I taught figure skating with her mom and when she asked about Rylee's senior portraits, of course I jumped at the opportunity! The weather was playing games with us that day as I woke up to a torrential downpour... but the rain stopped and the sun peeked through and it was incredible! We started off at Ohio Wesleyan's campus. I had never worked with harsh light and fairly strong wind at the same time before, but the way it blew Rylee's long blonde hair made it so dreamy. She grabbed it to pull it back, and I would say, "No! Let it go! It's gorgeous!" I'm so glad she listened. She totally rocked her session and I love the wine color she chose. My ultimate favorite fall color. And her accessories? Nailed it. The gold earrings in that wind. Swoooooon. And her diamonds with her track uniform. Yes, please! This girl isn't just all beauty, but she's also eyeing some pretty great schools and plans to run track in college. How awesome is that? She had her bball shoes, track shoes, and skates, but I could tell how much Rylee loves track. You could feel her passion for it from the way she spoke. I can totally relate to this with skating. Once you find something you love that much, working hard at it isn't a chore- it's a choice. The wind in your face, feet on the surface. Rylee lit up when she stepped onto the track. It's like she was meant to be there. I had so much fun exploring Delaware with her and her momma and taking her photos! Good luck this season, Rylee! Can't wait to see what your future holds.

Romantic German Village Summer Engagement Session

Christi + Keith are amazing together. I first grabbed Starbucks with them to chat about wedding photos and family photos. I loved hearing all about their plans for an intimate Spring wedding in Hocking Hills. When we spoke about engagement photos, they were satisfied with just incorporating them into their family session with their sweet little Lorelei. Seriously, I cannot wait for their family session- she is a doll! Christi + Keith are so in love with each other, but especially with their beautiful baby girl, and I admire them so much for this! They totally deserved to do a separate engagement session with one other, and I am so glad they agreed to do it! During their session you could see their love come to life. The way they touched each other, smiled at each other, and laughed with each other... their love came to life right in front of my camera! They were so {easy} together. And can you believe how gorgeous Christi looks in that dress?? She's going to make a breathtaking bride!! I cannot wait for their wedding next year and to share their family photos with you this fall!

My Bridal Shower!

Hey everyone! I have been MIA preparing for the big wedding day, but I'm back for a bit! My fall dates are filling up around the wedding! One more month to go and I'll be Mrs. Andrew Yogmour! What?! It's been crazy town around here, but I wanted to post some of the photos from my amazing, beautiful, perfect bridal shower that my maid of honor and best friend, Bethany threw for me. She didn't ask me to lift a finger and when I walked in, I was blown away by all the details! She even made all of the desserts. The cake was my favorite- blackberry! I'm so thankful for my maids that brought food, too! So many people came to support me and Andrew from near and far and I felt so, so loved! We started off with delicious pulled pork and meatballs made by the one and only Brenda. My mom made the macaroni salad that I specially requested. My belly was so
happy. The first game we played was "Who's got the groom?" I died. It was hilarious! My amazingly sweet friend Maggie won that one! I had so much fun watching everyone scramble to win the beautiful prizes that Bethany arranged. They were perfect. Somehow I acquired two of them, and I'm not mad about it because they match my kitchen perfectly! I opened gifts upon gifts upon gifts. We are so beyond blessed to be so cared for! Our house is going to be mostly r e a d y for us. That still doesn't feel real! Andrew showed up at the end to take all the gifts to the car, but first he surprised me with the biggest bouquet of flowers I had ever seen! SO big and beautiful. I'm not a roses kind of girl, and I love that he remembered that. He's the best and I cannot wait to marry him! Less than fifty days!!

The best maid of honor, ever!

Me + Momma!

Welcoming Baby Cooper

Eeeek!!! I am in love with Cooper! He is five months old now. My cousin Kris and his beautiful wife Lauren live in Chicago, and I rarely get to see them. It is always such a joy to have them in town. This time, we got to welcome brand new baby Cooper! He is too stinkin' cute. I just had to blog about him. My aunt and cousin threw an adorable shower for the new mom, dad, and baby. My family from West Virginia was in town, too for the celebration. It made my heart so happy to see all of my family together! Lauren's mother was also in the states! That's right. Lauren and her family are from Scotland, which means they have the most amazing accents. It's a bit ridiculous how much I love listening to them, but I could really sit and listen to them talk all day long. They are both so sweet and I am so happy for Kris to have found the love of his life in Lauren and to have such a beautiful little family. Watching Kris watch Cooper was the sweetest scene. He could barely take his eyes off his little boy.

Erica + Zach Engagement Session at Chestnut Ridge + Olde Canal Winchester

Happy Friday, y’all! I am so excited to post Erica + Zach’s engagement session today because in EXACTLY one year… they will be tying the knot! These high school sweethearts have been a gorgeous couple for s e v e n years. Yes. Seven! Shooting their engagement session was like a dream. I felt like I had a couple of unknowing Abercrombie models on my hands. Seriously, they are stunning! Erica and I started emailing earlier this year while she was away at school. She is studying to be a pharmacist and Zach works in the insurance field. These two have all the beauty AND the brains. From our first meeting, Erica and I seemed to click and I had so much fun talking wedding details with her as we walked from location to location. It was so sweet to hear Erica tell their intimate engagement story again. These two are head over heels in love. We started their session out at Chestnut Ridge and then made our way over to Olde Canal Winchester. They were so easy and willing to do whatever I asked. I loved watching them really loosen up in front of the camera with each click! Our session started at 6:45 in the morning so we could catch the best light. We had some clouds, but they ended up working out perfectly with their engagement style. I love when couples nail their outfits, and these two NAILED their style. I am so grateful for their willingness to put so much trust in my ideas! I’m not sure how I can wait a whole year for their wedding day, but the countdown is officially on! Hope you love my favorites from their session {below}. Congratulations Erica + Zach!
