Happy Monday, friends! I know I said I would blog on Wednesdays each week, maybe Thursdays, but hey! MONDAY is better than never, right? This upcoming week is supposed to be so nice! I heard it was going to be in the 60s here in Columbus and it has me longing for the warmer months!
This past September, I took engagement photos for Sarah and John and it was one of my favorite engagement sessions ever! Sarah and I are so similar, even our style, so I had a lot of fun with this shoot!
How they met
Sarah and John met while attending Ohio State. They were both in Agribusiness Club and ended up working a popcorn stand together! After flirting and flirting with Sarah, John finally asked Sarah out on the last day of an Agribusiness Club Trip!
Engaged
One evening, Sarah thought she was headed to do a task for work at the Statehouse. As she headed for the Rotunda, she found John standing smack dab in the middle with roses. She soon realized what was happening as John got down on one knee!
Wedding
Because Agriculture has played such a huge part in their lives (and bringing them together!), Sarah and John knew they wanted their wedding and engagement to reflect that. We had originally planned to meet at a working farm in Columbus, because it was closer for me. Fortunately, that didn't end up working out and I agreed to head down to Sarah's hometown of Sabina for photos at her family's farms. I am SO beyond grateful that the other location did not end up working out because these photos are not only more meaningful, but the backdrops were incredible. I am so excited for their summer wedding and to be back in Sarah's hometown!
