While the cold weather is finally in the past, I'm going to remind you all how amazing winter weather can be for photos with Deanna and Sean's engagement session!
Deanna reached out to me last year while finishing up school in Pensacola! I didn't even know this was a place until Deanna. (Don't judge- I don't get out of Ohio much!) I had a tremendously long day and was an entire hour late for our first phone call. Deanna was literally the kindest and most understanding person ever about it. Still, I was certain there was no way she would hire me after my ridiculous tardiness! I am so thankful she still did because she is hands down one of the sweetest people I have ever met and I am so excited for her and Sean's Ohio Statehouse wedding this summer!
Sean and Deanna met at Pensacola Christian College. Sean is originally from Alaska and Deanna from Ohio. I love how God always finds a way to bring people together. Sean completely surprised Deanna with the proposal. He accidentally drove right past her before she was supposed to see him, but she was so unsuspecting that she didn't even notice it was him! I love hearing them tell the story of their engagement day.
We shot their engagement photos in FIFTEEN DEGREE windy Ohio weather in German Village and at Scioto Audubon. These two were so incredible - we only had to take a couple of breaks to get warm. It was freezing. They looked absolutely incredible and oh my Gosh - Deanna and her family made a blanket for the shoot and these are some of my favorite shots ever! It was so perfect, despite the frigid cold!
