Hey y’all! So… I typically post previews of families the evening or morning after a portrait session. I LOVE this family and I was so happy to see them again. As soon as their session began, I could feel a migraine coming on- this humid Ohio weather has been really messing with me. I made it through their portrait session just fine, especially with all the laughter! Although both of my parents are introverts, somehow I managed to be an extrovert and this family gave me energy! On the drive home though, I could feel my head getting heavier and my vision starting to go. By the time I walked into my living room, the tv screen my husband was watching was a complete blur. Andrew turned off all the lights, I took some medicine and went straight to bed and completely forgot to post a sneak of this amazing family. So today I reserved a special spot on the blog for them!
Wednesdays are normally for weddings, but not today! This sweet family is crashing Wedding Wednesday and I couldn’t be happier to share their smiling faces!
I took family portraits of Angie, Jeff, and Anakin last year and absolutely adore this family! When Angie reached out again for family photos, I was super excited! Not only did she reach out again, but she did it several months in advance to guarantee their spot on my calendar (so thankful!). This time, I not only got to photograph Angie, Jeff, and Anakin, but also Angie’s parents and her brother Chris! We met at Franklin Park Conservatory and wandered through their outdoor gardens!
I love seeing how families have grown and it’s so special with my families that return for photos because I get to see them through different stages of life, especially the kids. Anakin is still the coolest, most energetic little boy in town! Last year he happily gave his mama kisses, and this year was no different, except it was so funny when he wiped off his face from her kiss! He joyfully referred to Jeff as “Jeffy-Man” and I could see how much he loved each and every one of the family members surrounding him.
Angie, thank you so much for bringing back your family for portraits! It was so special to see you again and meet even more of the fam! So cool that your brother could fly in and participate in these too! Y’all are seriously so adorable! Here are some of my favorites from your summer family session! xo
