Welcome to the world, little Daliah! Ericka and Devon welcomed their sweet girl in late September. At just over a week old when these photos were taken, Daliah was so tiny! Her nursery was beautifully painted like the bright colors of dahlia flowers and on the walls hung wildflower photos taken by Daliah’s aunt, Ericka’s sister!
Daliah’s name holds extraordinary meaning. Ericka and Devon decided on their daughter’s name easily after Devon had a dream about their future child. Daliah shares her dad and both of her uncle’s initials - DRL. You may notice that Devon wears green bands on his wrist in these photos. These bands are worn in his brother’s memory, and he has worn them for as long as I have known him (over a decade now). Daliah shares her late uncle’s middle name, a tribute to the impact he will always have on their lives.
