Hey beautiful, thank you for stopping by.
SORRY, OUR BOOKS ARE CLOSED FOREVER.
THANK YOU FOR THE SMILES AND MEMORIES.
A Sunday summertime post! Today we are sharing photos of sweet little newborn:
J O S I E
This midday sunny session was so joyful! We loved getting to meet this amazing new edition to their family and getting to see Rachael, Sam, & Owen again! At just a few weeks old, Josie was sooo tiny and seems like the happiest little baby. We loved that Owen got a brand new room to move into and Josie took over the nursery and added all of her girly decor touches! Girl has style!
Owen was so fun to watch with Josie, giving her little kisses and exploring her tiny toes! He’s already the best big brother.
Happy FriYAY evening, friends! Today we are sharing Rachael & Sam’s bump shoot as they prepare for baby #2!! It has been the most amazing honor to capture this little family’s biggest moments and we are so thrilled for them to be expanding their family again. Rachael has the most beautiful glow growing this girly!
They say third time is the charm, and we are so happy it worked that way with this shoot. We ended up rescheduling a couple of times due to sickness and bad weather, and then right when this shoot was about to start, the skies opened up and poured down rain. (I cried on the inside thinking we may have to cancel again.) Luckily, this family stayed dry in the car until most of the rain had passed and we were able to do their shoot still!
Happy Spring, friends! Last week we had the joy of photographing little miss week-and-a-half old Lyla!
Lyla made her entrance into this world about a week earlier than expected - Allyson & Frank were waiting to learn if they would welcome a girl or boy. Allyson was the most surprised to learn they had a girl!
Lyla already has the best big brother, Leo, the golden retriever, who also took it upon himself to decorate her nursery (has there ever been a better boy?). This is one of the cutest nurseries we have seen (I may be a little biased because I also have a golden retriever child…. but, look at how perfect).
Our hearts are so full! We shot Allyson & Frank’s wedding six years ago! Their wedding photos have graced one of the main pages of our website since then, and it is such an honor to document their story as they grow their family. We were blessed with a warm-for-February day with a gorgeous sunset to surround this beautiful couple!
It was so good to catch up with them! Allyson & Frank brought along their first baby, Leo (LOOK AT HIM!), who is going to be the best big brother ever. He was such a good boy for these photos, with a little (a lot) of help from Allyson & Frank’s amazing friends who came along to hang with him while his mom and dad were taking photos.
Charlie really seemed like he was more interested in a mid-January birthday rather than an early-January birthday, because he hung on a quite a bit past his due date. But after a long labor, he finally made his anticipated arrival. Even still, when we met Charlie at three weeks old, he was still sooo tiny! He is definitely a normal weight, but the way he was baking, we were expecting a big boy!
Charlie was an actual rockstar for his first photoshoot. He had one diaper change and one singular cry (his little forehead wrinkles are the cutest!!) and the rest of the time he was sleepy and happy, even with a few outfit changes! He even gave us some little smiles! We were so surprised how quickly this session went!
Happy November and Happy WEDDING WEDNESDAY! You guyssss, it’s been about a year since we decided to take a step back from weddings and only take on referrals. We are thrilled to bring this session to the blog today and introduce you to Stefani & Rob!
We first met Stefani and Rob a couple of years ago, when Stefani was a bridesmaid in her friend Emily’s wedding. It was so much fun to spend this early October afternoon at Lake Forest Country Club in Hudson with them to take their engagement photos! The fall colors this year have been so amazing, even when we shot these at the beginning of fall, we had so much variety! Oh, and we had the entire club to ourselves, plus this beautiful couple… it was a photographer’s dream!
Welcome to the world, little Daliah! Ericka and Devon welcomed their sweet girl in late September. At just over a week old when these photos were taken, Daliah was so tiny! Her nursery was beautifully painted like the bright colors of dahlia flowers and on the walls hung wildflower photos taken by Daliah’s aunt, Ericka’s sister!
You guysss. We photographed Gabby’s sister’s senior photos FOUR years ago. My oh my how time flies by. But… imagine how excited we were to hear from these pretty girlies’ mom again to photograph Gabby’s senior portraits! There was only one request: Gabby wanted to shoot in studio. And…. we had never shot a senior session in studio before. We are so happy Gabby trusted us with her vision and challenged us to a new look that we are kind of now obsesssssssed with. More senior shoots in studio, please! This was so much fun!
Back to school means senior photo time is gearing up for us! Our first 2024 senior this year is Manny. The last time I photographed Manny, he was shorter than me and just a kid! I can’t believe he is somehow already a senior and making plans to head off to college next year to study Chemistry.
The week of Stefani & Rob’s wedding literally started off disastrous with tornados and storms ripping through Cleveland, leaving many without power, including Stef & Rob as well as their reception venue, The Aviator. The morning before their wedding day, we received a text from Stef asking to hop on a quick call…. a call we had been waiting for, knowing the Aviator was powerless. We quickly dialed Stef up, anxious to hear what was happening.
With the Aviator out of commission, they decided to switch to the owner’s second venue. Despite all of her meticulous planning over the last year, and a huge last minute change, Stefani’s calm demeanor told us everything about this amazing couple. No matter the venue, the plans, the dream wedding: They were putting their love ahead of all those details and going on with their wedding day. Nothing could stop the beauty in that!
